"Portrait" of the 1st gun my Dad gave me back in the very early 70's. It is a Iver Johnson Champion shotgun. I decided to take it out on a few walks this fall for grouse & or turkey. No luck bagging any! Still have a chance in the next few weeks for a grouse or two. All shot on my Canon EOS 30 with the EF 35-70 f/3.5-4.5 on Kodachrome 64 in very poor light
Classic! As I understand, Iver Johnson shotguns are somewhat rare these days. Take good care of it. I have my Grandfathers Winchester 64 in 30-30 and Reminginton Model 31 12ga., and prize them highly. I think of Grandpa every time I take them up.
