It looks tight, but it's not

A caving buddy and I were messing around in Deatons Cave near Taylorsville, Ga. before the owners gated the cave. Thats me hamming up the shot, I handed my camera to my buddy and he got a few for the record. The local party animals used to come to this cave and trash the area. Fortunately theres a wet and tight constriction between the entrance room and the rest of the cave that filtered out the worst of the lot. There was a dance floor built in the entrance room, a pretty common thing in the days before air conditioning. I guess thats what got the party location established.

Gary- look out for the Hodag creeping up on you! Post more cave shots! I have some old ones tucked away that I ought to get out and scan.

For non cavers- if you think good landscape photography is challening, try bringing your gear in a place like this!
