Lovely composition and texture. It's stark with some elements of man made ugliness combined with the nice shapes and the plants in the background. Well done!
thomas, once again, u r spot on. the dialectics of man-made and nature, the beauty of building something, and the violence of ruining something at the same time ... actually this is intended to be for my "israeli landscape" project, where building symbolizes the national rebirth of jews/israel etc. but it can also be seen under "environmental/ecological context".
about the textures, telling u this neopan 400 is amazing in rendering materials be it concrete, various textile, leave and alike from nature, skin from face or nude, and light luminosity impression in general. the only thing i still not fully convinced is how it renders water.
as far as i remember, this was the roll of neopan 400 that finally convinced me that it is not just a temporary solution till i get the txp-320, but simply one of the most amazing films that i love now as much as i loved the apx100.
btw, thanks to mark antony photo-utopia blog (he is here on apug too), otherwise i have almost ignored the existence of this film.
