Wonderful! Nice exercise in printing as well. Have you tried re-developing in the selenium alone? It's something I've intended to do for a while.
Like the composition a lot.

Thomas - I did try bleach then straight to selenium but I found the result was often much too light for what I was looking for. Redeveloping in the normal developer seemed to keep hold of the deep tones which I was trying to get for this shot.

Rhys, I think the trick is to not bleach the image out completely, but to bleach it maybe 1/3 of the way. Then re-develop in the selenium. Anyway, your results are really nice!

I recall your earlier straight print and my comments. This is starker, darker and more strident and in keeping with the industrial decay scene.

However the viewer may have to look at the original to see the extent of the difference. Maybe it still just a little too subtle a change.

Worth further experimentation I think

Thanks for the comments, I agree that this process is worth some more experimentation and I've got quite a few other images of the ironworks that could make a nice series so I'll play around a little more and see what happens.
