Very nice Vincent. The composing is great with the dark trees in the middle framed perfectly and subtly by the clearing, the slightly paler trees and foliage either side and a nice horizontal branch. Love the sepia and selenium. Hope to get my prints to look this good one day, need more practice.
BTW do you Sepia before or after Selenium? With RC paper I sepia first but with the Foma warm tone I need to Selenium first or the Sepia will saturate the print and it wont selenium tone, like the waterfall picture I put up earlier.
Any tips would be great, your work is inspirational.
awty Thanks for your comments and I'm glad you like my photo. As to toning techniques I'm afraid I can't be of much help as I've only carried it out a few times and that mainly at workshops. I do however recommend Tim Rudman's 'The Master Photographer's TONING BOOK' if it is still available.
