Shawn, my eye is really drawn to that area right as the road disappears above the hill, and which is slightly brighter than everything else. That makes the gesture of the print fall very naturally, and it helps the eye to an easy 'path' through the picture. Very nicely done!
(This happen to be the APX I sold you?)
Shawn, very nice! Being from near Gettysburg at first I thought it was so. Maryland is a wonderful state for photography and I try and get down there as often as I can. Hope you enjoyed your trip!
Thanks everyone. I stopped on the way too and from the Brett Weston exhibit at the Phillips Collection last year. I had some technical issues and it looks like this is going to be the only printable image... I guess I'll have to go back. Made it to Gettysburg last year as well but the weather didn't cooperate...
It was the APX you sold, me. Thanks, Thomas. And glad to hear we're on the same page about the glow.
