Instax in SX-70

it's mirrored. it's cropped funny. it's still prettier than the new stuff being put out by a certain company who tends to not have good PR with me anymore :P
Equipment Used
SX-70 Sonar (on manual focus)
Exposure
darken all the way
Film & Developer
Instax wide format
Lens Filter
none
This looks great, like the look of this film.

And I agree about the disappointment with the offerings from 'the other company' although I don't seem to have been as unlucky with the Silver Shade fading / colour shift as you were. It would be great if Fuji developed some instant film specifically for the sx-70.

Can you share some info about using other films in the SX-70?

Cheers,
Gavin

You take one of your old empty packs... modify the back so it can't eject (otherwise the goop will go everywhere apparently). I just put some gaffer tape over the end (it's a little notch in the top left corner if you're holding the opening towards you/pointing down). Then it's just a matter of transfering in the dark the instax into the old cartridge. load up the sx-70, it'll whirr like it's trying to eject the darkslide but nothing should come out.
Take picture.
stuff everything back in your darkbag or darkroom, transfer the instax back to the instax cartridge and load up an instax camera. get it to eject (while covering the lens) and tada.
