Inside the northeast bastion

The EV readings for the bright areas were about 14 and about 5 for the dark areas - pretty extreme. I placed the bright areas at the top edge of Zone VIII and let the blacks fall where they could.

I deliberately chose not to expose for the shadows and develop for the highlights.

To keep things simple I developed this image for about the time recommended for HC-110(B) but used dilution D (about 20% less concentrate) for about N-1 development.

I don't know...something about this I like, maybe it's the Zone II, III and IV shadows I like. I can almost visualize a monk coming through the center archway. That would have been a great shot.
