" Inside the Cholla"

I had the 8x10 out all the way for this shot. I was testing an old B&J 12" lens. It was nice to be "Up close and personal" to this cactus. I will post some other shots with the old portrait lenses that I used while at Joshua Tree NP. The print has a very nice glow to it.

Very nice. I like this sort of plant picture where the foreground, shallow as the whole field is, is out of focus. It makes the whole thing sort of pop out.
