Looks great but IR is an acquired taste and the novelty can wear off if used too often. I thought it was Kodak until I read the details. I don't think I have seen a Maco IR quite this "other wordly" before.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "novelty" as I look at infrared photography as another important way for me to visually express my photographic vision.
PhotoBob is a Cokin 007 an Infrared filter? I love IR photography to bad they stopped making the 820 AURA version of that film. I got nice halation in the highlights with that film. Very similar to HIE.

Yes, I believe it is there equivalent to the Wratten 89B.
I find the Cokin system easy to use and have used it not only for IR work, but also for other filtered photography.
I think it is also more economical than other brands of filtration - seems there is always a trade off with such things eh?
