Someone has been taking a workshop from Clyde. Good redfishing in that spot. very nice shot. It is very hard to shoot with a 47mm lens. I have trouble with my 120mm on my 810 ebony. Do you live in the area or just visiting.

Clyde's a whole lot more "as is" ... this image seems to impart more drama...what a wonderful place to be ..

Hi Michael and Miles, Thank you for the kind words!

Michael, I live in Naples not too far from you. Let me know if you want to go shooting sometime. I have a small boat called a gheenoe that I work the tenthousnd with. I have never worked with Clyde in our area but have definitely been inspired by him. I was fortunate to attend a workshop in Death Valley with him about a month ago. He was fantastic on the workshop, I really enjoyed it.

There are lots of great areas to explore down here, one of my favorites other than loop road is Fakahatchee Strand. That's where Clyde did all of his ghost orchid shots.

Thank's again

John,
yea I did two workshops with him at Myakka state park. I do some photo work in pine Island sound. I have a actioncraft 16' flats boat. I use a 8x10 or 8x20 at this time. And just got a 11x14 which is over 100 years old and going to refurbish and use. It sounds like you hit alot of the same spots a friend of mine and I hit during the summer months. Next time we head down that area I will give to a ring and see if you want to meet up with us.
