In the roundhouse

A 44 in the roundhouse of the Bavarian Railroad Museum in Nordlingen Germany. This is a 3 cylinder locomotive with the 3rd cylinder inside between the main drive wheels. These locomotives were used for heavy freight trains. The museum is definitely worth a visit when travelling along the southern German Romantic Road.
