This is photograph was taken in the town of Xique-Xique, in one of a the schools that let me photograph the students. I think I posted some neg scans of this series a year ago, but this shot should be new to APUG.
Photographing inside these classrooms was a challenge in many levels: I was trying my best not to disturb the classes, many kids were shying away from the camera (and well within their rights), and the lighting was minimal. The result is that my best shots are of those that set by the windows, which gave me exceptional lighting.
This was shot with Tri-X in diafine, E.I. 1250, and the level of detail I got is incredible. I really love this combo now that I got to print it in fiber. The print was more highlight detail than the scan shows, but has the same sense of contrast.
BTW, I forgot to double the sulfite last time I mixed the ID78. I fixed it for this printing session, and I *think* the prints warmed up a bit. I might be wrong, though.
