Love it. The detail is really nice and its simplicity makes a strong image. I like my Hostas too! I waited too long this year and mine are looking, well, not fine art worthy. Not being pretentious either

I didn't even know what this plant was called

Re: background, I just wanted something to absorb as much light as possible to focus all attention on the leaf and its form. I had some black velvet type material and used that. Even so, I still burned in the edges a bit.
