There is a beautiful wall in our village made in the medieval manner using slabs of chalk which are then plastered with lime plaster. The surfaces ages beautiful and every plant that clings to it leaves an imprint that remains when the plant is chopped back.

I like this one two but perhaps a little tighter composition might have worked better.
