The choice to show only a portion leaves none of the aesthetic out. The (Ferris wheel?) is certainly nothing unusual at a dedicated amusement park but you have managed to record adequate contrast without the shadows going completely black. This is harder to do than might at first seem, because going the other way, making the image too listless, would reveal everything but would do so at the expense of the underlying image's vitality.
