HiHo, thank you for cross-reffering!
I really like the composition and the mood with the serene sea and the beautiful reflections.
Yes, probably I would cut off the sign on the left …
Stepping back a little could have been another solution - I know this can be dangerous on a small and slippery jetty.
I remember me walking on water, while taking photographs in a small harbor in the Netherlands - luckily without one of my FUJIs (but with a Gossen light meter) …
What about those blueish tones ? On first sight I thought of a cyanotype …
I am astonished to see this is Ektar.
I can't say I know what gives this roll the blues - but it seems to be the case w/ each image from it. At first, I thought it was the dusk light, but not all shots were dusk. 'Remains a mystery to me.
Eric! You're dangerous for my wallet! 'Just spoke w/ Jake at Bluemoon about lf & once again think I'm better off staying focused on skill rather than gas. I do get drawn to 4x5, but for now, it would be more distraction. 'Have a tank & enlarger for it, but no camera. I'd be happy to learn to wield anything well. 'Bout the time I think LF would be fun, I see SF from Scott Schroeder (LFF) or Tony Lockerbie and just cringe - they're so good.
Nice Mr Silver, cept for the sign and the pylons aren't straight. Things that are easily fixed when using LF. @Eric Rose We'll keep working on him Eric, he will brake eventually.
