Yeah, HC-110. My Pyro is contaminated & gives horrible negs. I'll get some more, but a qt of HC-110 can last a long time. '4 packs of D76 wait in the wings also, which is the only stuff I've used that I like as much as the Pyro.
I realized that there's something about this perspective on the wheels that I got fixated on - have at 4 similar. Some of the old tractors are fascinating. 'Gives me more respect for the soapbox derby race cars w/ ropes pivoting a front axle for steering - that's how alot of those tractors did their steering - using chain instead of rope.
HiHo, wonderful up-close detail throughout. Black & white supports the vintage look overall too. Two minor suggestions. I might crop down slightly from the top and eliminate the bright sky poking through up there between spokes. Also, I would like to see slightly more room along the main front wheel nut on the right hand side there. Looks like a great subject.
Trail, Thank You! I agree w/ both. 'Can crop the top, but the right side of the nut was all I have. 'Agree there's not enough space to have a supporting context - an abrupt edge. Your eye & thoughts are so welcome.
