Yes, a nice one -- brings out a good 3-D perspective.
And of course, the almost obligatory castellated nut!
(I have a few such nuts myself if I can find time to organize the stuff.)
DWT, Thank You. If all goes well, a wk from tomorrow is the Great Oregon Steam Up - massive museum of antique power equip. I'm sure to exhaust myself & some of the film supply. Trains - large & scale model (ride-on), Caterpiller equip museum, working steam sawmill. 'Should be a hoot.
A bit confusing at first glance, but i think this is great. This subject matter is impossible to wear out for me - love iron and steel and machine. Not sure i get what you mean by the contrast. Your XYL (wife) is spot on if this was commendable to her. and that nut, was it a plant by the ORHC? and that castellated nut - never even heard of those until your first post of one a while back. Wish the ORHC had taken the bar code off the end of board...
Thx, Michael. The nut was lying about a foot to the right & I wanted it in the image. I share your distain for the bar code. 'Wish I'd have thought to remove it.
I would have pulled my leatherman out without thinking or being respectful, so i would not recommend doing so... sometime i should tell you what i did on a visit to Windsor Castle.
