A bit intriguing and abstract: I am not able to judge. But Hi Ho Silver has a mind that is not stagnant. - David Lyga

David, thank you for looking. Its outside my normal reservation but I liked the almost medieval feel. 'Very easy for me to get stuck in ruts, so I have to venture out of the way a bit. 'Very much appreciate kindness - taking the time to look & comment. For me, its very helpful.

Andrew, Thank You. I'm perhaps most weak in my senses when things get more abstract. 'Makes me so dependent on kind folks telling me what they think. I liked it, but had no feel if anyone else would find anything to like in it. I appreciate your kind help.

Well, I sure like it! And, you're right; one has to do some crazy things sometimes just to keep from getting stale. This could lead to something else, etc.

bsd - thank you - most of all for encouragement. A cam shop owner did only LF and I'd seen maybe 150 or so of his images. I could only say I liked one or two. His passion for his work was infectious. At one point I said: 'I wish I had more artistic literacy so I knew how to be more supportive and encouraging - there's so much "heart" there.' That stance of encouragement seems like one of the most precious things found here - from yourself & others.

This is really cool! The color scan is interesting, since when I scan in color I still get a mostly black and white image. The motion blur is a little disconcerting at first but the more I look at the image the more I like it.

Chadinko, Thank you. I appreciate hearing your thoughts on it.
The red/orange cast varies alot for me in a scan. I suspect some of it is intensified by under/over exposure. My humble V600 flatbed has defaults that normally switch it to grayscale and auto adjust exposure. I have to deliberately turn those options off, hit 'reset' to keep them, which I do, having read that lightroom or photoshop does a better job. In the few prints I've done, none of this shows, naturally.
'Hope your Christmas is superb.
