Nicely done. I like this composition and the water droplet lighting better than the previous, although the orange filtration adds interesting depth to the leaf texture. (OK - compromise -- do one more, this composition with deep yellow ... )
Stunning beauty !!
Just like DWThomas says : the composition is excellent and I love those shiny droplets very much. On Img262 I like the dark leaves. Great work, HIHo !
Thank you for your kind comments & esp. your thoughts about what hit & what misses & what to try. As an insufferable texture & tone junkie I have a hard time passing these leaves up. I learned they're called Hostas. I just love the sensuous curves, tones & rippling surfaces.
@HiHoSilver Hey this is great. Really nice. Interesting is that I took similar images today from a leaf on a Elephant Ear. What else do you gonna do when it rains all the time.
Colin, Thank You. People seem to like the higher key composition - helps to know.
Rudy, Many Thx. 'Seems we have some similar disposition on seeing some compositions - leaves, progression (picknic tables). I'll have to check in w/ you when I have more compositions like this.
I love hosta and have tried my hand at photographing them but my results have not been as lovely as those you've shown here. Did you use a filter at all for this one?
