Looking at your photography, I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not, but your work has a calmness and stillness to it. I'm only mentioning this because we often need outsiders to "see" something in us, that we ourselves miss or didn't realize. Where this is applicable or interesting is if we didn't realize it, and if in fact, that's not what we are trying for. What is also interesting, is you get very few comments on your work here and one of the exceptions is picture 1457 waterfall which is not calm at all but very dynamic and strong. That picture got 8 emphatic thumbs up. Personally I like a lot of your work but I'd though I'd mention my feelings on it, because I'm not sure if you are aware of it.
Thank you blansky, I have never thought of it that way but I like isolation in my photos. In a sense I guess that is calm/peaceful but for some reason.

The reason I mentioned it is because I've done a lot of different kinds of photography, but after quite of few years of doing portraits, someone commented to me, that my portraits had a calm peaceful sensibility to them. I kind of went, hmmm, I never really realized that. I just did what I did, and it never occurred to me they had that characteristic. Sometimes we are so close to what we do, we don't notice things.
