Yes, what a great place to photograph - makes me think of a sawmill ?
I love the composition with the old house framed between the river and those branches.
Great details and tones - well done !!
Well done! That looks like a great place to exercise a camera, and the image at hand has the sort of detail that can hold ones attention for quite a while. (I too will guess sawmill! )
Its the oldest industrila structure in Washington state still operating in its original purpose - water-powered flour mill. It was another case of rushed shooting, but I can go back for some interior details. Thank You both, Greg & Fred.
Ah flour -- OK -- as a hobby baker, I'd go for that. The plume of water appears to be some sort of water turbine exhaust -- or a heck of a leak in the sink -- but surrounded by trees in a place called Woodland one naturally suspected ...
Hah! heck of a leak. Good!
You bake also? Yest. was 4 loaves of a Canadian formula WW sourdough + 2 of a motherdough white w/ roast garlic & blue cheese. If you have fav loaves - shoot me a formula. I'm partial to the wheat/rye blends w/ only sourdough. 'Been working on Frank to get his hands in the dough.
Thank you, all. Trail - I appreciate your weighing in alot.
Julie - It was unfiltered and very rushed. If you have or want any fav. bread formulas - let me know. 'Bout 13# baked on Sunday that started on Friday.
