Whoah, HiHo, nice one. Back to the Hassy, it is so telling from 35mm. And that pyro too, don't know that it makes all the difference, but the final result scanned looks very nice. I have seen many people swearing by it, but have never seen anyone actually debunk it's claimed fame.
Being new to the pyro - not smart about it yet. But with a roll of 35 & little agitation, the sharpnes/contrast was through the roof. The 120 roll got the same initial, but only a single inversion @ 20 min & no indication of uneven developing at all and less contrast. Perhaps I can isolate an agitation sequence to predictably vary it - don't know. One shot from the roll was a sequence larger organ pipes, all eggshell off white & the detail is good and no sign of streaking. Its early yet, but if one soup is set to challenge results from D76, its likely this one.
DWT, Thanks. The organist told me one of the better organs just happened to be having its once/yr free recital w/ some renown organist at what he thought was the best set of pipes in town at Trinity Episcopal. 'Gonna try to be there. They keep bringing to memory a trip in college to Grace Cathedral in SF. Would I ever love to shoot that. I know you've forgotten more than I'll ever know about the instruments. They really are a massive bit of functional art.
