Thx, again, Nodda. It was harsh, direct light. Maybe I could reshoot another time of day to get better detail. Today, I was near & got what seemed an interesting shadow of the tail on the ground below, and several from the large memorial to the Korean War Vets. It can get intense, such that I have to leave it for a bit & work with more light-hearted subjects.
Andrew, your graciousness is good medicine. Thank You. 'Had heard of collodian, but had to look it up to learn detail. If I recall, its Nodda & JNanian that have some phenomenal posts of home made emulsions. 'Can't imagine having to swab glass, shoot, soup within minutes.
Sorry -- but this one is just too 'Grey' overall for me -- it needs some work on the scan in 'levels' to bring out higher contrast and better separation of Tones -- my 2 Pence ( British ) worth !
Peter, the grey was the disappointment to me also. Maybe some more work, but I suspect better light would provide alot. I appreciate the 2 pence. Thank You!
