I like the image a lot. The composition and viewpoint in conjunction with the interesting subject matter sell it so far as I am concerned. Combine all that with the toning, and I would have to add it to my "wish I had taken this" list. However, I do have a question! On my monitor the image seems to have a grey tending on blue shading, which while effective, begs the question as to rather this is scan of a toned print or a negative/slide, or perhaps a monitor issue on my end.
Hi ctscanner, some of these images are toned some are not, I've only got the chance in the last few days to start scanning the prints again and there is a problem, I'll have to check the setting on the scanner, I did these in work just as I finished this evening and loaded them up onto the site straight away but there is a colour cast somewhere along the line, the blacks are coming out purple, I used a canon scanner but I'm not teckie so will have to try new images next week and see can I iron the problems out, thanks for the comments all the same and any advice on my problem please come back to me,
