Middle engine be mighty old.... just saying. GE U-boats seem pretty rare these days.

I'm amazed that a photograph of something so powerful, and loud, can leave me feeling so tranquilized.
Or. maybe I'm just a sucker for trains . . .

Did you see the plane in the distance? Even bigger, but smaller.

I took some railroad photos while shooting in my original hometown, as it is a big definer of the environment there. I thought some railroad buffs might also like them, though I am not one myself.

@Brendan Quirk , I wasn't sure if that was a plane in the sky, or a wee bit of schmutz.
It's been so long since I've seen a plane fly by . . .

Yes, I'm a train buff. The 1st and 3rd GE engines were among my favorites with their wing fans and new cabs. The 2nd goes back quite a ways.... the 1970's I think.
