Ilfochrome sample prints

I know absolutely nothing about color processing, but this reminds me of something from the 40's. Its golden and beautiful and very different from anything that would come out of a commercial lab today. The innocent trust of a sleeping child just leaps from the page. I love it.

As someone has just revived your article on Ilfochrome printing, I was led here to your sample prints. Aside from the immense respect I have for the time, talent and skill you've put into your printing, I just wanted to leave some admiration. Your little darling here just glows. The warmth of the colours gives her an ethereal quality, radiating angelic innocence and peace. What a beautiful image! Thank you for posting it.Molli
