I miss taking this kind of portraits. I find Planar is the best lens from Zeiss either on Contax and Hasselblad , and than Biogon and Triotar.I can feel his lips colors , such an excellent seperation , excellent depth of field no less no more , excellent grades , such a elegant smooth relief and in his face , no loss of sharpness , loss of quality - all japanese lenses will fail here or there - no grain , no extreme light or shadow , pure mid tones. I did not use fast lenses in my life and I believe less light in lighting and slower lenses are faraway better. Thank you for sharing.

Hello! I've got another Planar, the 50/1.7 C/Y version ... another gorgeus lens ;-) Hehe, I love fast lenses. But I really belive that I tend to use them too much ... even when they are not the best option ! Learning ;-) Thank you for your comment. Saludos,
