Another oldie that I found in the scrap heap recently. I remember making this in a gravel parking lot where the potholes had frozen to reveal some of the best ice forms I'd ever seen. I had to work fast - every time a car pulled in the lot, they would smash my subject matter. www.scottkillian.com
Thanks, Ryan. Only using Azo for my Great River Road project which will be published as a book when it's finished. I'm also putting out a limited edition portfolio made from some 55 year old, unopened Azo that I discovered. Other than that, I'm printing everything on Kentona and Nuance these days, hoping Lodima will come to fruition. What will you do when your stash of Azo runs out?
I'm not expecting my AZO to run out any time soon, at least not this year. I've been lucky to run into some boxes everytime my stash is getting low.
I've been working alot with Foma Fomatone Warmtone Chamois surface paper, which looks very close to the surface, color and tones of a platinum print. I'm only working with it in mural size however. It's pretty much the complete opposite of AZO, but it has nice qualities to it.
Thanks, Kevin. I was getting Nuance from J&C. Not sure what the situation is there at the moment, but I know it's packaged under other names. Do a search on APUG and you'll find a thread about it.
