4x5 silver contact print

I made this exposure shortly after dawn at another of my favorite places to work. The Ritchie Ledges are near my friend John Powers' house so I stopped early on my way there to meet him and others for coffee before attending an Edward Weston exhibit at the Akron Art museum. It's hard to imagine a better day.

Thanks, Bill. Yes, always a good time at the Powers' get togethers. Just can't get enough of those rock formations at the ledges. It's like a mini-canyon and everything is close enough for access with a view camera.

Shawn, you must have been inspired. Both your last two posts are amazing. Nicely done!
Wish I could have been there.

Thanks all! Quite inspired indeed, Thomas. Dawn at the ledges has that affect on me, add to that a show of Edward Weston prints and good luck keeping me from printing! Shawn

Great print, Shawn. In all my years living in Ohio I never made it up around the Cleveland area too often. I would to romp around my childhood haunts with the 4x5 now. Thanks for posting it.
