Hi Macfred, re: I can see for miles. I really do like this picture! I have photographed this scene many times but this is better than I was ever able to do. Is the statue of Hercules still at the top? I lived a few miles outside of Kassel in 1963-1965. Thank you very much for sharing this picture, John.

@oldcamera4 : Yes, the Hercules statue is still at the top of the Karlsberg - the whole areal is under restauration now (estimated costs about 20 milliion Euros). Thank you very much for your kind comment !
