Nice... Before reading your description, I wondered how you got so close to them . Your coloring technique is unique, too.

Thanks. Had to start over a few times on this and it could still use improvement. Backround is a variation of the mediobrome process, wiped out the highlights and upper midtones with cotton balls, q-tips, ect. then filled in the remainder with oil pencils. I am going to trial a coat of gamblin cold wax on this in about a month. We'll see?
