Behind our Florida house, this branch has engaged me visually for months. I finally decided to photograph it when it had changed color and was a significantly different value than everything around it.

Well seen and captured ... Kinda looks like a wild grape vine ...

Lovely to behold...wonderful simplicity. I notice that most of your images are square, but taken with a 6x7 camera...do you just prefer the square format?

Thank you, all. Tony, I put the edges where I think they belong regardless of the dimension of the negative. Most of my images are not square, but rectangular. The horizontal side is usually a bit larger than the vertical one. The dimensions are on the sidebar. This one, however, is indeed only 4 pixels away from square.

'The simplest things are often the most beautiful'... this is lovely, John.
