as tony said. and that sense of delicacy makes it feel to me as if the sand is getting ready to run out the bottom of the frame. one question: how does a polarizer affect exposure with black and white?
Thanks, jp. I deliberately chose to photograph on the western side of the dunes so that the sun was to my back. In that orientation the polarizer darkens the blue sky by a good bit. Had I used a 25A red filter as well, the sky would have likely been nearly black.
