Very good sense of the light. I would have pointed the camera just slightly to the right to center the image more...and I would have lost the more dramatic balance that you have captured.

By centering, the image would have had a more static calming affect. Your slightly off-center image has just a bit of edge to it. The quiet soft light combined with this "edge" and the up-in-the-air, or on-the-edge-of-a-cliff vantage point, gives your image a slight feeling of tension. I prefer it to what I probably would have done.

It would be interesting to have both versions and ask the general public which they prefer. Most probably would not see the difference unless pointed out to them, but I think most would prefer the more centered "safe-feeling" version, without really knowing why. But they would remember and be affected by your version more.

But then again, I might just be talking nonsense. Great image!
