HP3 Glass Plate #2

HP3 Glass Plate #2

Taken on a HP3 glass plate.
Speed on the package is 200 Weston, but it is exposed as 20 ISO to compensate for age.
Contact printed and then tea toned shortly (in an old christmas tea, so it smells quite nice).

Great picture!

I'll be picking your brain about glass plates - I have a box of T-Max 100 and one of Perutz Peromnia, both 13x18cm, in the fridge

I like this. There's a mystery about the sitter which the low key emphasises. I love tea toning (I think decaffeinated works best!). Blights

I'm not sure whether the "spots" I see on my monitor are on the glass plate or on the scan. They distract me. I really like the way you've captured this girl - they eyes are very expressive and the freckles bring out her youth/innocence. Nice portrait - but I keep coming back to those spots...

Thank you!
Lucky you, Ole! Have you used any of them?
jtwalthier: The spots are on the plate and comes from the age of it. Not much to do about it

Wow, very "serene" image; love the combination of an "old" technique with a "modern" accent (piercing).
