Nicely done. Slugs, eh -- here hosta is an appetizer for deer. Fortunately the roots survive but one has to use repellent to keep the tops going.

We're lucky to see any of our flowers, deer eat everything we have planted. The hostas are their favorite.

Thanks for the comment, living in an urban environment I can’t imagine deer that close to a house.

they feel light, feathery and dramatic...

look up neem oil, a natural insecticide for all kinds of varmints on plants, i use it all the time.
