Was hiking through Horseshoe Canyon a few weekends ago and came upon one section of the valley that had quite a population of stone people.

'Can't remember the last landscape done wide open. 'Used here to good effect. 'Good eye.
You probably didn't want to hang out long till the stone people had a more compelling expression. :smile:

I'm not entirely happy with this image. I have others but not the time to scan them. Maybe tonight. The tonality in this canyon is very monochromatic so quite hard to get any contrast.
 
'Hope others weigh in. I wouldn't sell it short. Its different, very handsome.
