Horse

Nice shot. looks like a baking hot day. It brings home the necessity of contrast in B&W. It makes me wonder what you'd need to do if the horse had been what we call a grey" in the U.K. i.e.a white-grey colour and blended in with the background.

It was a nice sunny day, but not baking. Interestingly, the lack of contrast was due to using a deep yellow filter and the fact that the hills in the background as well as the field to the right were covered with orange and yellow flowers.

Good picture, horse has good contrast against the surrounds, all ties in well, could print it many different ways..
