These are wonderful machines and this is a very nice capture.

I was just reading a brochure about the carousel yesterday - did you know that there is in fact a "lead" horse on the carousel? It's the most decorated and ornate horse. I'm not sure which one it is exactly, but I don't think it is this one. There are over 1000 lightbulbs on the carousel. It is called a "menagerie" carousel because it has horses, lions, I believe an ostrich, and two coaches that seat four I believe. The pipe organ (not visible in this photo) is a Wurlitzer.
