Nice, I love the tones. I like the series - nicely done with good angles.A single horn, hmm. Never even saw one before. I've only played doubles (King Eroica and Holton Farkas). The Farkas is at my parents.
Yes, a single. A double would be nice, but I imagine it might be a little busy for the limits of my lens/camera/processing. I was a trumpet player, but was recruited to play horn in an itinerant quintet way back in '83. I used a nice double back then. This single came to me several years ago, and mostly lives in the closet under the stairs.
I don't know that a double would be much busier, just thicker from front to back with this view. I started off with trumpet then switched to horn when I got my braces off in 10th grade. I played it all through college and some in grad school, but haven't touched it in 5 years and not much before that. I sold the Eroica to get the Farkas and I keep meaning to ask my parents to bring it down when they visit and never do. Not sure what the dogs would do if I played it, but at least we're out in the country.
Thank you. My horn career was mercifully short; though my trumpet experience made the range of the horn easy, I never managed to really make it sound like a horn... it was always a little too trumpet-like. (You should hear my sax... ha ha) I learned a lot through the experience, though. Thanks again.
