I've used Tri-X but never got such extraordinary results! But then, i work with a 35mm Nikon N75. Great shot of the boy as well.
 
thank you. My Son Jack tolerates me when I take his picture.... He just rolls his eyes... :smile: I have an N75 camera too. love it. I bought a whole bunch of Tri-x, so I have been having fun pushing it and seeing how far I can push it..I will try 3200 next... gonna be fun... Greg
 
Brings back memories of myself in the 1950s. Homework could be an ordeal but kids deserve more credit than we give them sometimes for tackling it manfully even when their instincts tell them this is "too much"I couldn't have related this to my memories unless the picture caught the "emotions" that I can relate to. Wait for 20 years and Jack will say:" Dad, I am not sure you appreciated what I was going through then" However he will appreciate the print that reminds him of times pastSo do a print and stick it in a book for the future. It is more valuable than you might think it is
