Home made emulsion....

For PE and others..

I use liquid emulsion all the time.

but have only tried home made emulsion a couple of times.

and only the simplest recipe..

used my coffee meachine to heat up the chemicals..

I actually liked the result.
nut too evenly coated (takes some practice), but the tones are fine.

a slight greenish hue to the image.

this is a straight scan, with the tones very close to the original..

Love to do more..

time will tell

Haha, funny, it says APX100 at the bottom.

Nicely done. Is that a little bird on the thumb of the model?

Great results! It goes to prove that ingenuity beats materials any day. Perfection or not? I don't care. I like the results. Congratulations.
I'm would be slightly worried about having a cup of coffee at your house, though...

I'll give you a cup of coffee, made in my kitchen!!

Wow! I'd love to see the way you did this, always wanted to make my own, but i don't have the space to do something as complex as it seems in most of the recipes i read.

But this is SO simple that my mother proberly can do it.... (and she passed away several years ago!)Two chemistries - food gelatine - destilled water and a heater (my coffee maschine)... and most done in plain daylight.Try it! It might be FUN!
