Daniel has inspired me to work more regularly at my local stomping grounds through his beautiful interpretations at Eagle Creek. A bit of his aesthetic may have sneaked in as well. =)
Nice image Shawn. But, as far as Daniel and your assertion that "a bit of his ascetic may have sneaked in as well," I suspect he is much more of a sensuous, hedonistic, sybarite rather than ascetic. I know for a fact he indulges in sinfully exquisite treats [chocolate truffles, roasted almonds, dessicated Kiwi fruit, etc.,] while on his so-called "nature expeditions." Trail-mix indeed. (Appalachian Trail-mix perhaps!) Don't let his mild-mannered appearance, "powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men," and gentle demeanor fool you.
Looks like you are doing some fine printing with that new Lodima paper. Sorry I missed John's recent get-together. I would have liked to have seen some more of your (and the groups') prints in person.
Man, Joe, you're ruthless on typos! =) Really missed seeing you the last couple outings. I can still picture that hand color roller derby portrait of yours clear as a bell in my mind's eye. Just beautiful.
