Holy Jesus Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, seemingly all but abandoned within loops of late C20th traffic systems but actually now a museum with displays on the remains of the 14th-century Augustinian friary, Tudor tower, 17th-century almshouse and Victorian soup kitchen, which are all on the site, or what's left of it!
This is very cool. I love distorted urban landscapes. I get the impression that the new and the old are being squeezed by the encroaching pavement. Like a tightening circle. I have Xpan/30mm envy.
Apologies for taking a week to reply to the kind comments - I've been away from home since posting the image. The 30mm Xpan lens is the most expensive piece of kit I've ever purchased but having now had a it a year I'd be lost without it.
