How did you print this on watercolor paper?? Did you use that liquid light stuff??? I guess personally, I would have printed it on glossy or pearl. I think you would have gotten better contrast that way.

Really a good result with great textures. Looks like something from an 1880's master pictorialist.
 
Texture on the paper came out nice on the scan. How long did you spend on composition? What was the light source?
 
I spent about an hour setting the image up. Light was a Travelite 750 and a white fill disc.

Jeanette,
I cannot speak for MikePry but this is a Kallitype print. Kallitype is a alternative photographic process. It is not a silver print as we come to call regular photography.

Thanks for the reply to my questions. Even on the scan it still looks 3d! What a great effect. I wonder, did you have to do any dodging and burning? Are you going to fiddle with this one and repost?

I don't usually dodge or burn with Kallitypes but often times will bleach back the final image with pottasium ferracyanide if I need a little more umph in the highlights.
