You did a nice job with the exposure, these bright and dark streets would probably give me fits.

An uncoated antique lens helps to reduce the contrast. The one coated lens I had with me on this trip was used only twice; all the rest were shot with old uncoated lenses. It really made life easier with that kind of contrast range.
