I like the direction your going here. Would love to see a pic of your holga mod. I have also thought about going down this path to get more exposure control.

wonderful to watch your inspiration/exploration develop in front of us, so to speak. i've also had those circles and numbers show up in one and only one roll out of the dozens i've developed at home. never understood why that one roll was so touched...but you think it's from some sort of fogging as it's being loaded onto the processing reel in the black bag?

Thanks for your comments guys. I will put up some pics of my holgamod soon. As for the dots and number5, it must have been light getting between the back side of the backing paper and the film emulsion. As the backing is black with white dots/numbers, the light reflected of them and exposed the film? So the black backing worked to created an interesting effect, if it had been ilford film with a white backing, the film would have been much more fogged!I noticed mid-way through loading the film that there was a small power light on the powerbar in the small bathroom I was using. So that was most likely the culprit!
