Surprisingly elegant for a boxy warship. Nice angle, especially since I expect you had to work with the position the launch provided.

Thanks. She is rather boxy, not as pretty as the "pocket" carriers she replaces (but they were designed for VTOL/VSTOL aeroplanes e.g. Sea Harriers). The launch was moving quite fast and this camera does not have interchangeable lenses or a motor wind so it was a question of wait for the moment and fire the shutter having metered and adjusted the aperture to the obtain the highest shutter speed possible. Just luck really.
